Slated to begin the 2010 campaign as Cal Poly’s top middle reliever after a season as the Mustangs’ Friday night starter during the conference season.

2009: Made 15 starts and one relief appearance in junior season, securing final out for save March 31 against USC ... 5-5 record and 4.75 ERA ... Big West pitcher of the week after allowing three runs and 10 hits in 7.0 innings for win against Rice on Feb. 21 ... three runs and 10 hits for win against Long Beach State on May 15 .. one unearned run and six hits in eight innings for win against Cal State Bakersfield ... struck out career-high 13 batters in a complete-game 3-2 loss at Houston on March 8 ... started the season as the Sunday starter but moved to Friday night starter at the start of conference play ... 65 strikeouts in 108 innings  ... an All-Alaska Baseball League performer for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots in summer ball ... 1-1 with a 2.60 ERA ... used in relief (13 apearances), he had 12 strikeouts in 17.1 innings ... foes hit just .179.

2008: Provided middle relief out of the bullpen as a sophomore ... in mid-season stretch pitched three hitless innings for win against Fresno State on March 1, 4.2 scoreless frames for win against UC Irvine on March 29, 2.1 innings for win at Pepperdine on April 8, two scoreless innings for save against Pacific on April 12, struck out all six batters he faced against Fresno State on April 14 for another save, 4.2 scoreless innings against USC on April 29 and 3.2 scoreless innings against UNLV for save May 3 ... finished year allowing one run and four hits in four innings for win against UC River-side ... ERA jumped from 1.42 to 7.80 during three-game stretch in March, but finished at 4.08 with 5-5 record and four saves ... pitched 9.2 scoreless innings with nine strikeouts in four appearances from April 8-15 ... 49 strikeouts in 57.1 innings ... played sum-mer ball for Eau Claire Express, posting 3-1 record and 2.64 ERA with two complete games and 41 strikeouts in 47.2 innings ... drafted in 48th round by Seattle last June.

2007: Injured his arm in season opener at San Diego and was sidelined the rest of the year ... granted a medical redshirt ... pitched four innings against Toreros, allowing five runs and five hits with three walks and no strikeouts ... pitched summer ball for Cape Cod League champion Yarmouth-Dennis (1-0, 3.00 ERA, 18 strikeouts in 18 innings).

2006: Appeared in 18 games with one start against Cal State Northridge on March 26 ... posted 2-2 record and 5.65 ERA with 19 strikeouts in 28.2 innings ... also walked 19 batters ... earned first collegiate win against Cal State Northridge on April 8 with 2.2 scoreless innings in relief ... also earned win against New Mexico on April 29 with a scoreless inning in relief ... pitched three scoreless, hitless innings in first collegiate appearance on mound at San Jose State on Feb. 3, striking out four ... pitched for DuPage Dragons in summer ball and was named to Central Illinois Collegiate League All-Star Team, posting 3-3 record and 1.93 ERA with 56 strikeouts in 60.2 innings ... was named top-10 Major League prospect in Central Illinois Collegiate League.

Prep:
A pitcher and shortstop at De La Salle High in Concord ... hit .410 as a senior with 31 RBIS, five doubles, one home run and was 7-for-9 in stolen bases, helping Spartans to 23-4 overall mark, Bay Valley Athletic League title with 13-1 record and CIF-North Coast Section championship ... team MVP ... Bay Valley Athletic League batting champion and RBI leader ... first-team all-league honors and All-Times Bay Area ... named utility player of the year for Bay Area ... as a pitcher posted 3-0 mark with three saves and 1.31 ERA, striking out 14 batters in 16 innings ... also helped De La Salle win league title as a junior, hitting .300 with three doubles and 12 RBIs ... team posted 25-6 overall mark in 2004 ... a two-year varsity letterman ... also lettered in freshman basketball ... ranked No. 62 in nation as prep infielder by Rivals.com.
