Listed on the preseason depth chart as a probable starter at C-Back (slotback) at Cal Poly this fall.

2008 -- Sat out the campaign ... played in 2009 Spring Game and rushed twice for 15 yards.

2007 -- Played in four games with starts against Western Oregon and Northern Colorado before he was sidelined with an injury ... rushed for 43 yards on 12 carries, including a 10-yard gain against Weber State ... ran for a two-point conversion against Texas State.

2006 -- Played in three games with one start at San Jose State … rushed for seven yards on four carries in that game and finished the season with five carries for 45 yards against Savannah State, including a 13-yard run.

2005 -- Redshirt.

High School -- A running back, linebacker and safety at Modesto High, leading the Panthers to a 9-2 mark in 2004 and the Modesto Metro Conference title ... led Modesto in tackles all four years and was the team's top rusher as a sophomore ... earned all-league honors as both a running back and strong safety and was an All-District running back ... rushed for 920 yards and recorded 88 tackles as a senior and 858 rushing yards and 92 tackles as a junior ... also lettered in track and field and was a member of the National Honor Roll.

Personal -- Son of Jerome and Mindi Lewis ... two brothers, Perry and Kion, and two sisters, Justyce and J’Lynn ... wants to be a doctor or physician’s assistant ... claims to be the best Madden player on the West Coast ... born November 15, 1987, in Fort Rucker, Alabama ... majors in microbiology.
