No. 38 Xavier Ramos
Safety
6-0 • 177 • Freshman
Ventura, CA / St. Bonaventure HS

High School -- Ramos helped lead St. Bonaventure to a pair of state championships as an outside linebacker under head coach Todd Therrien. Ramos notched 58 tackles, three forced fumbles and 10 pass breakups as a junior free safety as the Seraphs captured the CIF-Southern Section Northern Division title as well as the CIF State Division III championship, beating Central Catholic of Modesto 35-21 and finishing with a 14-1 record. Last fall Ramos recorded 72 tackles, one sack, four forced fumbles, one interception and 13 pass breakups as St. Bonaventure again earned the CIF-Southern Section Northern Division title en route to the CIF State Division III championship with a 28-6 win over Cardinal Newman of Santa Rosa, again capping a 14-1 campaign. St. Bonaventure has won 133 of its last 140 games and 13 straight Channel League titles. The Seraphs have reached the CIF-Southern Section championship game in their division nine times in the last 10 years, winning eight titles. Ramos, who has a 4.86 time in the 40, chose Cal Poly over UC Davis, South Dakota, Portland State and Army. He earned first-team All-Channel League honors as a senior and was on the second team as a junior. Ramos also played basketball as a freshman and sophomore and is a four-year honor roll student-athlete.
