

Saturday is Youth Day. All youth football league players wearing their team jersey or a T-shirt with team emblem will be admitted free to the Cal Poly vs. Humboldt State football game at 6:05 p.m. in Alex G. Spanos Stadium.

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Fans not able to attend the No. 21 and Big West Conference-leading Cal Poly softball team’s May 2-3 series against Pacific can listen to the homestand live on GoPoly.com. The series, and Cal Poly’s 2009 regular season home schedule, finishes with a single game Sunday, May 3 at 12 noon. The broadcast for the home finale begins at 11:40 a.m. with live coverage of Cal Poly’s Senior Day festivities.
With a sweep of Pacific, Cal Poly (34-9, 13-2) can establish a new program record for consecutive victories, cement the first undefeated home season in program history and take a gigantic leap toward securing its second conference title during the past three years. Entering play Saturday, Cal Poly has won 13-straight games, all 16 contests at home this season and leads Cal State Fullerton by two games atop the Big West standings.
