Named to All-Big West Conference second team as a utility player after batting .290 with 36 hits and 21 RBI … earned All-Big West honorable mention consideration as a pitcher after finishing fourth among conference players with a .235 opposing batting average, sixth with a 2.51 ERA and seventh with a 93-strikeout total that was the eighth-highest amount in Cal Poly single-season history … first collegiate victory was a 3-1 win against California (2/22) in which she not only tossed a complete-game five-hitter and faced just five hitters over the minimum, but provided the eventual winning margin with a two-run double to earn Feb. 25 Big West Player of the Week honors … compiled a career-high four RBI during 9-1 thrashing of Cal State Fullerton (3/29) … belted a solo homer and a two-run shot to help Cal Poly down Cal State Northridge, 6-2 (4/19) … in first career pitching appearance, struck out eight San Diego State batters (2/8) … held No. 9 Oklahoma to one earned run in six innings (2/17) … scattered four hits in 1-0 loss at No. 21 Fresno State (3/7) … held No. 16 DePaul to a single earned run in 3-2 loss (3/9).

Four-year letterwinner helped Griffins to three Sunset League championships (2004-05, 2007) … with her in the lineup, Los Alamitos HS advanced to the 2004 California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section championship game and produced a semifinal round showing in 2006 … as a senior, named Sunset League Pitcher of the Year, team MVP and to All-Orange County second team after compiling an 11-1 record, 86 strikeouts and a 1.29 ERA in the circle and, offensively, a .393 batting average, six homers and .598 on-base and .803 slugging percentages.
