SAN LUIS OBISPO – Following his first start of the season for Everton Football Club reserves against Manchester United, former Cal Poly defensive midfielder Anton Peterlin has updated supporters and followers with his most recent journal entry to Mustang on Merseyside. The latest post and all previous entries can be viewed HERE or by selecting the above link.
PETERLIN, named to both the All-Big West Conference first team and NSCAA All-Far West Region team as a senior in 2008, officially joined Everton from Premier Developmental League side Ventura County Fusion for an undisclosed fee July 1. Prior to the transfer, Peterlin had enjoyed a 10-day March training session with the 2009 FA Cup runners-up.
Cal Poly (4-7-1, 2-1-0) returns to Alex G. Spanos Stadium to host Cal State Fullerton Wednesday, Oct. 14. Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m. The first 250 fans will receive free Mustang soccer scarves. (limit two per family). Tickets for all Cal Poly athletics contests can be purchased online at gopoly.com. Select the “TICKETS” link on the left side of the home page or call (805) 756-5806.
