SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Tim Walsh Radio Show will air on ESPN 1280 at 6 p.m. Tuesday, live from Charlie's Place in San Luis Obispo (located at 981 E. Foothill Blvd., a mile-and-a-half from the Cal Poly campus).

Nov. 7's broadcast (also available through GoPoly.com at this link), hosted by Chris Sylvester, coincides with Taco Tuesdays at Charlie's Place — with $1.25 soft tacos and $2.50 Coronas after 4 p.m.

While discussing last weekend's 35-28 Homecoming victory over Portland State, Coach Walsh will also look ahead to Senior Night vs. Sacramento State, also at 6 p.m., this Saturday.

Mustang senior defensive lineman Jack Ferguson and Cal Poly women's basketball head coach Faith Mimnaugh will also join the hour-long show.

Coach Mimnaugh will preview the Mustangs' season opener at San Francisco on Friday evening, before Cal Poly hosts Grand Canyon in Mott Athletics Center at 11 a.m. Nov. 16.

Ferguson, a San Luis Obispo High School grad, has five sacks along with seven tackles for losses in 2017.

The Big Sky Conference matchup vs. the Hornets is also Hats Off to Heroes Day in Spanos Stadium, as the first 1,000 fans in attendance receive special edition Cal Poly caps. Moreover, all local servicemen/women can request up to four free tickets to the game (Section 106) and Stampede Club barbecue by using the promo code HEROES17 under the 'Corral BBQ/Game Comp' option at Tickets.CalPoly.edu or (805) 756-4TIX.

The broadcast will segue into the Joe Callero Show as the fall turns to winter, with future shows Dec. 5 (hosted by Creeky Tiki in San Luis Obispo), Jan. 9 (Mustang Station in the on-campus UU), Jan. 23 (Charlie's Place), Feb. 6 (SLO Country Club), Feb. 20 (Milestone Tavern in San Luis Obispo) and March 5 (Mustang Station).

In addition to KXTK airwaves, ESPN 1280 broadcasts are streamed via ESPNRadio1280.com and TuneIn.
