Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Fall Season With Strong Showing
SAN DIEGO— Senior Molly Reed won three singles matches to win the green draw championship over the weekend at the San Diego State Fall Tennis Classic to highlight the Cal Poly women's tennis final tournament of the fall season.

Reed defeated the Air Force Academy's Meredith Jones 7-5, 6-1 in the championship match.

Elsewhere in singles play, sophomore Susanne Boyden won two matches to make it to the championship match of the red draw. She fell to Colorado's Linda Huang 6-3, 6-7 (10), 7-5. Junior Celine Gruaz made it to the consolation championship of the black draw before losing to University of San Diego's Maria Paula Torres 6-7 (1), 6-2, 10-5.

In doubles play, Boyden and junior Caroline Williams advanced to the consolation championship match of the blue draw. They fell to Air Force's Jones and Jolley 6-3.

With the fall season now over, the women's team now prepares for the start of the spring season starting in January. They begin the spring season January 12 at the Cal Invite
