SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — After leading the Mustang women’s basketball team to a 75-67 Blue-Green Rivalry home win over UC Santa Barbara on Saturday afternoon, senior point guard Dye Stahley has been selected as the Coca-Cola Cal Poly Student-Athlete of the Week.

Stahley played all 40 minutes during the win. It was her fourth straight 40-minute game, as well as her seventh complete-game effort amidst the past nine outings.

She shot 4-for-9 overall, including 2-for-4 from 3-point range, and sank all six of her free throw opportunities en route to a team-high 16 points. Stahley also distributed eight assists (one back of her season-best total) and matched her season-high performance with four steals.

On the day, Stahley moved into a tie for No. 19 in school history for career steals (now with 130), along with taking sole possession of No. 8 in program history in career assists (282).

Cal Poly, which evened its Big West record at 1-1, will play its next two conference matchups on the road, visiting Long Beach State at 7 p.m. Thursday before traveling to Cal State Fullerton for a 6 p.m. tipoff Saturday, Jan. 19.
