Tim Walsh Coaches Show Returns Tuesday with VB Coach Sam Crosson

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The second edition of the 2018 Tim Walsh Radio Show will air Tuesday night from Charlie's Place in San Luis Obispo.

The one-hour show will air on ESPN Radio 1280 AM and 101.7 FM at 6 p.m. The addition of the FM signal in July allows listeners from the North County to take in the broadcast.

Fans are invited to attend the hour-long broadcast (also available through at this link), hosted by Chris Sylvester, with a social kicking off the evening at 5:30. Fans in attendance will have the chance to win tickets to Cal Poly football games and an autographed football signed by the 2018 Cal Poly football team and coaching staff.

Coach Walsh will preview the Mustangs' home opener against fellow Big Sky member Weber State. Kickoff is set for 6:05 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 8, from inside Alex G. Spanos Stadium.

Coach Crosson will talk about his No. 22 Mustangs' first two home matches coming up this week against No. 9 UCLA. Cal Poly will play the Bruins Thursday, Sept. 6, and Friday, Sept. 7, in a rematch from last year's second round of the NCAA Tournament. Both matches start at 7 p.m. inside Mott Athletics Center. The Mustangs are currently 5-1 and have won four consecutive matches.

In addition to KXTK airwaves, ESPN 1280 broadcasts are streamed via and the TuneIn app.

Following Tuesday's show, upcoming Tim Walsh Radio Shows (on Tuesdays) will also air Sept. 25, Oct. 2 and 16 and Nov. 6 at various San Luis Obispo locations (Milestone Tavern, California Fresh Market and Mustang Station (on campus).
