Women’s Swimming & Diving Sweep All 16 Events in Win Over Pepperdine

SAN LUIS OBISPO — Freshman Sascha Keir and sophomore Amelia Feick each won two events as the Cal Poly women's swimming & diving team swept all 16 events against Pepperdine Saturday to win the meet 178-105 at Anderson Aquatic Center.

Keir won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.12 and the 100 free with a time of 53.47.

Feick won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:08.86, good for the best time on the team this season. She also won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.04.

Sophomore Makenzie Kamei won both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. She finished with a score of 212.20 in the 1-meter and 268.65 in the 3-meter.

Cal Poly finished top two in eight of the 16 events.

The men's and women's dive team next competes in the Trojan Diving Invitational Nov. 10-12 at USC. The men's and women's swim team travels to Las Vegas for the UNLV Winter Invitational Nov. 16-18.
