Cal Poly Women’s Swimming Hosting Pepperdine Saturday

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Cal Poly women's swim team will host Pepperdine this weekend, the first of three home events the Mustangs will host this season.

The meet kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday from Anderson Aquatic Center. Admission is free to everyone.

The Mustangs are coming off a loss at UC Santa Barbara last weekend. However, junior Amelia Feick picked up two wins, the 200 breaststroke and 200 IM and senior Emily Imfeld also won an event, winning the 100 free.

The Waves are 1-4 this season and are coming off a loss against San Diego.

Following this weekend's meet, Cal Poly will next compete at the UNLV Winter Invitational at the end of the month. The next home meet will be January 12 when both the men and the women host UC San Diego.
