2017 -- Track: Earned a season-best 800-meter performance of 1:53.47 (fourth place) at the Bulldog Invitational in Clovis on April 22 ... also competed in the 800m at four additional meets as a freshman, including posting times of 1:54.74 & 1:54.52 at the 35th annual Cal Poly ShareSLO Invitational (March 25) & Beach Invitational hosted by LBSU (April 15).

Prep -- As a senior at Los Alamitos High School, was the runner-up at the 2016 CIF State Track Championships for the 800 meters, with a career-best time of 1:51.49 ... also won the 2015 Southern Section Masters championship for the event ... was a back-to-back Sunset League 800m champion, and also won the 1,600m title as a junior for the Griffins under coaches Nathan Howard and Jeff Tribole ... was also part of back-to-back 1,600m sprint medley relay championship squads at the 2015 and 2016 Arcadia invitationals, including an all-time meet-record performance of 3:26.36 as a senior (which also broke the existing Orange County record) ... in addition to earning his conference’s Track Athlete of the Year award, was named the Long Beach Press-Telegram’s Male Track Athlete of the Year in 2016; was also a back-to-back OC Register all-county first-team honoree ... in cross country season, posted a time of 14:57 at the 2014 Woodbridge Classic ... was a scholar-athlete, and volunteered as a coach for Beach City Runners and AYSO’s 106th Region ... chose Cal Poly because of “the welcoming culture of the student body” and because “the campus was stunning and met my desire to experience the ‘small town feel’, and I was impressed by the Learn By Doing philosophy.”
