Cal Poly Track & Field Competes at Mt. SAC Relays, Beach Invitational

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Almost 40 Mustang student-athletes are headed to Southern California this week, as the Cal Poly track & field team competes at a trio of meets. Most of the traveling squad will attend the 60th annual Mt. SAC Relays on Friday, while a select few teammates are also entered at the Beach Invitational hosted by Long Beach State as well as the Bryan Clay Invite at Azusa Pacific.

This year's Mt. SAC Relays are being held at El Camino College's Murdock Stadium in Torrance, while Jack Rose Track and Cougar Stadium will host Beach and Bryan Clay. Each of the meets can be followed live at the following links:

Of the season bests, 27 Mustangs possess a combined 29 performances ranking in the top 95 of the NCAA's western region. Following this weekend, Cal Poly will prepare to visit UC Santa Barbara for the annual Blue-Green Rivalry Dual Meet on April 28, before the postseason begins with the Big West Multi-Event Championships (at CSUN) from May 4-5.
