The Larry Lee Radio Show returns Monday night, airing live at 6 p.m. on ESPN 1280 / 101.7 from Charlie's Place in San Luis Obispo.

Charlie's Place — located at 981 E. Foothill Blvd., a mile-and-a-half from the Cal Poly campus — features Monday Happy Hour from 4 to 9 p.m.

Coach Lee's Mustangs, coming off a 2-1 series win over Hawai'i, enter this week tied for first place in the Big West Baseball standings, at 12-3 in conference play.

Cal Poly, whose pitching staff has been led by Bobby Ay, No. 35 in the nation in wins (seven), and Michael Clark, 56th in the country in ERA (2.24), hosts Pepperdine for non-conference action Tuesday beginning at 5 p.m. in Baggett Stadium.

The Mustangs then return to conference play visiting UC Irvine on ESPN3/WatchESPN Friday through Sunday.

Mustang Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Mark Conover will also be a guest for Monday night's show.

Coach Conover's squads are set to compete at the 2019 Big West Championships, hosted this weekend at UCSB. The Mustangs open the week with five No. 1 seeds to the Conference Finals, and five student-athletes who closed the regular season within NCAA Top 48 first-round nationals qualifying.

Among Cal Poly's trio of defending conference champions, sophomore pole vaulter Brooke Tjerrild brings the highest national ranking into the meet, No. 50 between each region with a clearance of 13' 5.25".

In addition to KXTK airwaves — 101.7 FM or 1280 AM — May 6's broadcast hosted by Chris Sylvester is streamed via and the TuneIn app.
