2016-17 -- Track: Redshirted. Cross Country: As a true freshman, came in seventh place at the Big West Conference Championships in Hawai’i, running 8k Kahuku Golf Course in 25:22.7, helping the Mustangs to the dominant team title with 18 points on Oct. 29 ... made his collegiate debut competing unattached at the Cal Poly Invitational on Oct. 15, finishing as the runner-up at Fairbanks Memorial Course in San Luis Obispo, with a performance of 26:59.3 (trailing only former Texas All-American Joe Thorne by 9.8 seconds) ... closed his fall with a 77th-place NCAA West Regional 10k of 31:21.2 at Haggin Oaks Golf Club in Sacramento on Nov. 11.

Prep -- While at Trinity Prep in Winter Park, Fla., came in 15th place at the 2015 Nike Cross Country Southeast Regionals, running the 5k in 15 minutes, 38.40 seconds, after winning the Florida High School Athletic Association 2A championship at 15:53.49 ... his state title came after also winning the regional crown ... in addition to his individual success, helped lead the Saints to three consecutive state team championships under coach Ken Vinal, as well as a National Small Schools Team Champions honor ... as a senior in track, also took second place in the 3,200 meters at the Florida Relays, with a time of 9:14.22, before going on to finish as the runner-up in the event at the state finals (as well as fourth in the 1,600m, with a PR of 4:24.32) ... was also named the Florida Dairy Farmers Cross Country Runner of the Year in the fall of 2015 ... was a Dean’s List and Headmaster’s List student, and volunteered with Equine Angels Horse Rescue and Support for Disadvantaged Youth Cook Club ... also visited Cornell and Lipscomb; ultimately chose Cal Poly “because of the wine and viticulture major, the academic learn-by-doing approach, the opportunity to run for the Mustangs, Coach Conover and to live in San Luis Obispo.”
