Community College: Played one year at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo as a shortstop and led Cougars to 29-14 record, 19-6 for first place in the Western State Conference's North Division and a berth in the state regionals ... hit .392 with 67 hits, including 12 doubles and three triples ... 34 RBI and struck out just nine times in 195 plate appearances ... stole 14 of 18 bases ... earned first-team All-WSC North Division honors.
