2017 -- Member of squad but did not play in any games as a junior ... one punt for 36 yards in 2018 Spring Game.

2016 -- Punted 10 times for a 40.7 average with two touchbacks, one fair catch and a long of 56 yards in season opener at Nevada ...averaged 43.9 yards pe punt in first three games of season ... in 2017 Spring Game connected on 48- and 39-yard punts and successfully kicked a 52-yard field goal.

2015 -- In first game in a Mustang uniform, connected on a 49-yard field goal with four seconds remaining to lift Cal Poly to 20-19 victory at Montana ... also made a 23-yard field goal against Sacramento State ... those were his only two field goal attempts of the season ... also made all five of his PAT attempts and averaged nearly 60 yards on 15 kickoffs with three touchbacks ... earned three tackles on special teams ... made one of two PAT kicks and added a 3-yard punt in 2016 Spring Game.

2014 -- Did not play football ... participated as a walk-on in 2015 Spring Camp and played in 2015 Spring Game, recording one punt of 46 yards and connecting on a 46-yard field goal.

High School -- A 2014 graduate of Gilroy High School, Vega made 100 of 105 PAT kicks and one of three field goals during his two-year varsity career ... also was a cornerback and safety on defense ... also lettered in baseball, where he was a pitcher and center fielder ... made the Honor Roll all eight semesters.
