Cal Poly Competes at MPSF Championships

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Cal Poly women swimming and diving competed in the first day of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships in at Los Angeles City College.  The first event was the 200 yard medley relay.  Cal Poly did not advance to the finals.

In the 800 yard freestyle medley, Cal Poly swimmers finished in fourth place with a time of 7:21.35, scoring an NCAA "B" Standard.  The relay was made up of sophomore Andrea Voigt, senior Lacey Buck, senior Kylie France and sophomore Jill Jones.

The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships continues through the 18th. The men will compete in the Pac-12 Championships the weekend of Feb. 29-Mar. 3.
