Volleyball Dominates Highlanders in Three Set Sweep
 SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The Cal Poly volleyball team swept the UC Riverside Highlanders on senior night in a Big West Conference match in front of 778 fans in Mott Gym on Friday. Set scores went 25-10, 25-21 and 25-15. With the win the Mustangs improve to 11-15 and 6-7 in conference matches while UCR falls to 7-21 and 4-10 in Big West matches. 

Junior Jennifer Keddy led all players with 15 kills on 22 swings with just three hitting errors while sophomore Kristina Graven and senior Catie Smith added eight and seven kills respectively.

Shelby DeDuff led UCR with 11 kills with Amadna Vialpando adding eight. 

Senior Sarah Cawrse tallied 32 assists in her first start since Sept. 2 (Santa Clara) adding three kills and seven digs.

Cal Poly as a team hit .352 while limiting UCR to a .097 hitting percentage. Cal Poly held a 41-31 advantage in kills and 46-38 advantage in digs. 

Two Mustangs tallied 10 digs, senior Lauren Law and Kristina Graven.

Cal Poly controlled the net with an eight to five advantage in blocks with Keddy credited with one solo and six assisted blocks. 

The match concluded in 1 hour and 11 minutes on 11/11/11.

The Mustangs return to the court on Saturday when they travel to Central Coast rival UC Santa Barbara for a Big West Conference match.
